JOINT

Joint are those fracture or cracks which shows no relative displacement between surfaces.
Joints are found in every rock type, it may be horizontal, vertical or inclined.

Vertical to sub-vertical joints

Joint set
If many joints show same geometry, like dip, strike called joint set.

Three joint set (Mural joints)

Joint system

Two or more joint sets together formed joint systems.
